Mazda introduced its first electric car in 2014.
The first models were a hybrid-electric and a 2.5-liter gasoline-electric sedan, with a 0-60 time of 5.1 seconds and a top speed of 186 miles per hour.
Since then, the automaker has been adding a slew of plug-in hybrid models and plug-ins for other markets.
The company recently announced it will launch its first hybrid crossover model this year.
It will be called the Kia Soul EV and will go on sale in late 2018.
