Apple has finally released the new iPad a1548, which has a 5.5-inch screen and an A15 chipset, as well as a 64GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and a dual-core i7 processor.
The iPad a2549 comes with a 2.3GHz quad-core CPU, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
Apple also announced the A1548-based iPad a1234 and A1549-based iPads a1546 and a1550.
Apple says that the new iPads can run the latest versions of iOS, with support for both OS X 10.9 and macOS 10.12.
It will be interesting to see whether the iPad a2349 and iPad a2449 can match the performance of the iPad Air a1539 and a1239.
If they can, then the iPad range should be more attractive than the iPad series a1543, a1542 and a1444.
However, if they are unable to match the iPad line a1545, Apple may find itself looking at an upgrade path.
Apple’s a1541 and a1341 tablets will be released later this year.
The a1544 and a1643 tablets will also be released in 2018.
The A1544 is expected to be a smaller tablet, while the a1551 and a1751 tablets will share a common processor.
